I believe that I can use anything to createI am not afraid to share ideas. But I am not here to impress you. The only validation I need is from the man in the mirror. When I am working, many at times I don’t notice the world around me disappear.I take one day at time, one art piece at a time, one stride at a time until someday when the dream will be manifest.“I may not be outstanding, but I feel that in future I will be great. Even if I never become it, the assurance of greatness I carry on the inside of me is enough.” Aloka Mark Trevor. This is my tribe. I belong here.I work and create with this tribe. But when I am zonned out, I create.A world full of colours and prints and organics.I pay attention to everything I wear. Art practically runs every aspect of my life.My world is art and the reverse is true.I never leave the house without my signature hat. It has become a pasrt of my brand.I have lived at the University for as long as I have taught there. After ten years, this is now home. The best moments are the ones shared with my students. These hands are co-creators of this art.At my age, I am very particular about the things that I eat.The balcony, my favorite place to unwind every evening.“I look simple but I am tough and I do not entertain nonsense.” Dr. Nabulime LilianI love art and plants In that specific order.Music is therapeutic. If kindness is sharing, then art is what I have to give to the world. This is my world. For me, faith is everything. Faith and forgiveness. The one thing I can’t successfully do, is drive through the University without multiple stop overs to exchange greetings with either my colleagues or students. My heart lives right here; family.
